White Rock Vineyards, Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Napa Valley, 2022
White Rock Vineyards is a historic family-run Napa estate, first planted to vines in 1870 and revived by the Vandendriessche family in the late 1970s. Set in a small valley at the base of the Stags Leap Range, the estate farms its hillside Cabernet naturally, without herbicides, pesticides or fumigants.
The 2022 is 100% estate Cabernet Sauvignon, blending fruit from east- and west-facing hillsides. Hand-harvested and aged for 22 months in French oak, it shows black cherry, plum and cassis with cocoa, herbs and subtle mineral notes. The palate is concentrated and structured, with firm tannins and a long, savory finish.
Varietal: Cabernet Sauvignon
Appellation: Napa Valley, California
Farming: Practicing organic, naturally farmed
Style: Red. Structured, concentrated and age-worthy
