Shipping & Delivery Policy

Shipping Restrictions

  • We currently ship wine only to select U.S. states where permitted by law. Unfortunately, due to state regulations, we cannot ship to all states. Availability will be confirmed at checkout.

  • You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase wine. By placing an order, you represent that you are at least 21 years old, and the recipient must provide valid government-issued photo identification upon delivery.

  • We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes or APO/FPO addresses.

Delivery Signature Requirement

  • All wine shipments require the signature of an adult (21+) at the time of delivery. Carriers will not leave packages unattended.

  • If no one is available to sign, the carrier will attempt delivery up to three times. After that, the order may be returned to us, and additional shipping fees may apply.

Weather Holds

  • To protect your wine, shipments may be delayed during periods of extreme heat or cold. We will notify you if your order is placed on a temporary weather hold and will work with you to determine the best shipping window.

Processing Times

  • Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information once your order has shipped.

Shipping Methods Rates

  • Standard Ground and expedited options are available at checkout, subject to carrier availability.

  • Rates are calculated based on your location, order size, and selected delivery method.

Damaged or Lost Shipments

  • If your package arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours at hello@coteauwine.com. We may require photos to process a claim.

  • If your order is lost in transit, we will work with the carrier to resolve the issue and either reship or refund your order.

International Shipping

  • At this time, we do not ship wine outside of the United States.
