Weingut Peter Jakob Kühn, Rüdesheim Berg Roseneck, Riesling Grosses Gewächs, Rheingau, 2023

$123.00

Weingut Peter Jakob Kühn is a historic Rheingau estate in Oestrich-Winkel, with more than 230 years of family winemaking history and a longstanding focus on biodynamic farming. Berg Roseneck comes from a small, exceptionally steep parcel in Rüdesheim, and 2023 was the first vintage Kühn bottled the site as a Grosses Gewächs. It is also a singular release, as the parcel was subsequently sold. The 2023 is dry and concentrated, with citrus, white peach and apricot joined by white flowers, herbs and subtle smoky notes. The palate combines ripe fruit with vibrant acidity and a pronounced stony, saline character, giving the wine considerable depth while remaining fresh through the long finish. Varietal: Riesling Appellation: Rüdesheimer Berg Roseneck, Rheingau, Germany Farming: Certified Biodynamic Style: White. Dry, concentrated and mineral
