Stéphane Regnault produces finely tuned, terroir-driven Champagnes from family vineyards in Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, at the heart of the Côte des Blancs. Lydien is the domaine’s flagship cuvée, made exclusively from Chardonnay grown on chalk-rich Grand Cru parcels. Fermentation takes place in a combination of stainless steel and used oak, followed by extended aging on the lees to build texture and complexity while preserving clarity and precision.
The N°80 release is focused and refined, offering citrus blossom, lemon zest, and white orchard fruit layered over a pronounced chalky minerality and saline edge. The palate is energetic and precise, with fine, persistent bubbles and a dry, clean finish that highlights the wine’s structure and freshness. Elegant yet serious, this is a Grand Cru Blanc de Blancs that excels both at the table and on its own.
