Julien Courtois and Heidi Kuka farm a small domaine in Soings-en-Sologne, where Julien established his own estate in 1998 after working alongside his father, Claude Courtois. Résonance is made entirely from Chenin Blanc planted by Julien in 2011, growing on flint-rich soils in the Sologne.
The 2022 was harvested by hand and directly pressed, then fermented with indigenous yeasts and aged for 18 months before bottling. Textured and savory, it shows white peach, citrus and floral notes with subtle almond and flinty characteristics. Fresh acidity and a saline quality carry through the long, dry finish.
