Jakob Moise is a young grower in Baden who also works as a consultant for biodynamic viticulture. His vineyards focus on Spätburgunder grown across sites in southern Baden. In the challenging 2024 vintage, severe rain and disease pressure dramatically reduced his crop, leaving only a small amount of fruit from his limestone-rich Belmont parcel to produce this wine.
The 2024 was fully destemmed and fermented in ceramic Clayver, then aged in used Burgundy barrels. Light and aromatic, it shows dark cherry and red berries with fresh herbs and subtle earthy notes. Gentle extraction and restrained oak keep the wine fresh and delicate, with fine tannins carrying through the finish.
