The Mascarello family has been farming the Toetto vineyard in Castiglione Falletto for generations, and their Freisa from this site has become one of Piedmont’s most characterful expressions of the grape. Toetto’s sandy limestone soils give Freisa the aromatic lift and tannin structure that reflects its genetic lineage to Nebbiolo.
