Friday, October 9, 2026
6:30–8:00 PM
Explore the wines of Alto Adige, one of Northern Italy’s distinctive alpine wine regions, in a special tasting guided by Alexis Raia of Polaner Selections. This class focuses on Franz Gojer, a historic, family-run estate located just north of Bolzano in the St. Magdalena appellation.
Through a selection of the estate’s wines, we’ll explore Alto Adige’s high-altitude vineyards and native grape varieties, from fresh alpine whites to Schiava and Lagrein. We’ll also look at traditional pergola vine training and how elevation, soil, climate, and winemaking shape the wines of this mountainous region of Northern Italy.
