Domaine de la Borde’s Côte de Caillot Chardonnay 2022 comes from a steep limestone slope in Arbois-Pupillin, where vines root in shallow marl and rock. The estate is farmed organically and biodynamically, and the wine is aged partly in older barrels and partly in amphora, the clay vessels that gently aerate the wine without adding oak influence. This approach supports a clean, unadorned expression of the vineyard.
