Champagne Jacquesson, Cuvee 746 Extra Brut, NV
Cuvée 746 is built on the 2018 harvest and follows Jacquesson’s long-running approach of producing a single base-year blend rather than a traditional NV cuvée. The wine draws mainly from estate parcels in Aÿ, Dizy, and Hautvillers, with additional Chardonnay from Avize and Oiry. Fermented with native yeasts and aged in large foudres, the style is shaped by low dosage and a focus on clean, precise fruit.
The wine shows citrus, pear, and light brioche on the nose, supported by a clear mineral line. The palate is dry and finely cut, with energetic fruit, firm acidity, and a long finish that highlights its chalky structure. It’s a direct, expressive Champagne that reflects Jacquesson’s disciplined and vineyard-driven style.
Varietal: Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier
Appellation: Marne, Champagne, France
Farming: Sustainable, low-intervention, hand-harvested
Style: Sparkling. Dry, mineral, and structured
